Did you know that some of the largest and best known websites, whose business is to advertise holiday homes on behalf of their owners, will charge you a booking or service fee in addition to the actual price quoted by the owner? You might notice that some of these sites will not show the owner's price tariff, but just quote a final figure which includes an extra payment for themselves in the region of 15% on top of the real price. A property booked directly through an owner's private website (like this one) will not include that charge. So you could have exactly the same holiday at a much cheaper price.
